Hi Pitstoppers

After the ice storm most of our trails are impassable. It's going to take a lot of work by a lot of people, so don't just sit around and figure somebody else will do it. You might be sitting for a while.

Before cutting on somebody's land, check with the landowner. We've gotten calls from people wanting to save the big stuff in long lengths like 10 or 12 ft.

If you cut on the wrong land without asking we could lose that trail so call us @257-0961 and ask for Ken or e mail the pitstoppers.

There has been a lot of clearing going on but.........there is a lot more to be done.

Don't forget your chainsaw.

We have landowners who don't want their land cleared by the club and have not given permission for this year. This would be Ed/Dick Clark's land. This pretty much shuts off a big chunk of trail in West Guilford.

The trails are hurting for snow so clearing will take a while still on Rt 9 going west.

If it's not progressing fast enough for you, then you better work faster.
